Western India Film Producers Association organised free eye check-up camp

A free eye check-up camp was organised recently at Maheshwari Bhavan, Andheri (West), Mumbai under the joint aegis of Western India Film and TV Producers Association and Lions Club of Millennium for the filmmakers, artists and workers associated with the film industry. This free eye check-up camp was organised for the needy people and people associated with the film industry, in which renowned Dr. Prem Agarwal, Dr. Prateek Agarwal and Dr. Pooja Agarwal along with their team examined the eyes of the people and distributed free spectacles to the needy.

Along with this, free cataract operations were also done for the people suffering from cataract. On this occasion, on behalf of Western India Film and TV Producers Association, Project Chairman Lion Pawan Khetan, General Secretary Dilip Dalvi, Program Coordinator Dharmendra Mehra along with Secretary of Lions Club of Millennium Anand Agarwal and Treasurer Vinod Agarwal and Executive Committee members of Western India Film and TV Producers Association Mahavir Jain, Anjana Sharma, Subhash Durgakar, Ravi Sinha, Anita Naik, Dinesh Aashiwal, Chandni Gupta, Anuradha Mehta, Hirachand Dand, Rahul Sugandh, Akshay Singh, Priya Rathore and Amit Chandra were present.

In this 10th Medical Eye Camp organized jointly by Western India Film and TV Producers Association President Sangram Shirke and Lions Club of Millennium President Rajendra Jhunjhunwala, a total of 600 beneficiaries were given spectacles and medicines after examination. Western India Film Producers Association, established on 22 March 1960, has been a pioneer in giving protection to filmmakers.
