Maverick director Vikram Bhatt the creative brain behind iconic films like Ghulam, Awara Paagal Deewana, 1920, Raaz, and Haunted, is back with a thrilling new project—Tumko Meri Kasam. Starring Anupam Kher in the lead with Adah Sharma, Esha Deol and Ishwak, . This time again Vikky ( Vikram)  is backed by his mentor-uncle iconic film-maker Mahesh Bhatt.

Known for his versatility in genres such as drama, horror, and comedy, Bhatt now takes on a heart-wrenching, genre-bending intimate-emotions drama that promises to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline. Loosely based on a true biographical story of Dr Ajay Murdia, the film has a tagline that speaks volumes: "He made a promise to his love, a murder could destroy it."

Starring an ensemble cast led by evergreen veteran Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, Ishwak Singh, Esha Deol, Sushant Singh, and Meherrzan B Mazda, Tumko Meri Kasam brings together some of the finest actors in the industry. The film follows the journey of Dr. Ajay Murdia, played by Ishwak Singh (young) and Anupam Kher (present day), who founded India’s largest IVF chain, Indira IVF, with the mission of helping childless couples fulfill their dreams of parenthood. Dr. Murdia’s inspiring journey is supported by his strong partner, his wife Indira, portrayed by Adah Sharma. Their love story takes a dramatic turn when Dr. Murdia is accused of murder, and his entire career and reputation are put on the line.

The film's emotional yet gripping trailer takes us through the ups and downs of Dr. Ajay Murdia's life, oscillating between a heartfelt love story, human drama, and a courtroom thriller. The trailer also highlights a fierce explosive courtroom battle, where Dr. Murdia's dynamic lawyer, played convincingly by Esha Deol, works tirelessly to defend him against the accusations, despite all evidence seemingly pointing to him as the killer..

When I asked Vikram, regarding this murder-crime- twist in the story,  he explained that they had to take creative liberty, since it is loosely inspired on the real-life story. Where in real-life Dr Ajay Murdia has no enemy and nobody hates him, he has a clean spotless past.and has never been arrested..The fiction crime angle was added  because it is ideally necessary to have a villainish grey--shades twist to add audience engaging-entertainment value . We will be inserting a disclaimer clause title card, so that audiences will be well-aware that the crime-portion deviation is pure fiction.

Anupam Kher and Vikram Bhatt’s collaboration in Tumko Meri Kasam is particularly special. Because despite knowing each other for over three decades, this marks their first time professionally working together. Bhatt's unique storytelling combined with Kher’s acting prowess promises an unforgettable cinematic experience.. In one of his jovial,witty moods, on-stage,  the outspoken Anupam jestfully threatened "finest director-friend Vikram that he should always cast him in his upcoming movies ! Even if it is a horror movie..Or else Anupam would make his life a 'horror' " ! 

The music of the film, always known to be a major recall-value highlight in all music-savvy Vikram Bhatt's films, has already set the stage for success. The release of two melodious songs, Berang and Ishqaa Ishqaa, have already taken the social media and streaming platforms by storm, with fans adding them to their playlists.

Adah Sharma, who is riding high on the success of her recent super-hit film The Kerala Story, joins forces with Ishwak Singh, who has won accolades for his powerful performance in Paatal Lok. Their pairing is being hailed as one of the fresh new duos to watch out for in Bollywood. With the seasoned performances of Anupam Kher and Esha Deol, who returns to feature films after a 14-year long-break ( self-imposed Vanvaas ?) the ensemble cast is poised to deliver an emotionally intense content.
