Even as legendary melody-queen Asha Bhosle receives birthday-bouquets and fond messages on her Birthday on September 8th, elsewhere on the Same Day, mega-star Deepika Padukone is probably humming a soft special lullaby –along with star actor hubby Ranveer Singh while cuddling their baby girl "Dua"!  That’s because Dua was also born on September 8th!

What is Deepika’s 'indirect-connection' with Asha Bhosle - -who has fond regards for her? It was agile ‘Piku’ girl (Deepika) who was singled out by director Rohan (Ramesh) Sippy to lip-sync and gyrate to the sensuous ‘Dum Maro Dum’ (2011) movie-title recreated song sung by Anushka M.  But as we all know, this iconic timeless trance-song was originally recorded by Asha Bhosle for Hare Rama Hare Krishna under genius composer R D Burman’s baton, way back in 1971!

Lead star actress Deepika Padukone ( of ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawaan’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’,  and now upcoming SRK movie ‘King’ fame) and Ranveer Singh ( of superhit ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ and blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ fame)  had welcomed their first child, a bonny baby-angel girl whom they later named ‘Dua’!

The charismatic power-couple Deep-Veer duo had shared a joint ribbon-framed post which read, "8th September 2024, Welcome Baby Girl”.

It may be recalled that tall. Stunning Padukone got married to Ranveer Singh in a picturesque, lavish ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, on November 14,  2018. Almost six years later, they have proudly embraced ‘parenthood’

According to information available,  Deepika and Ranveer have also invested in a swanky palatial apartment in Bandra Lands End, which is next to superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat.

Call it a spiritual coincidence, it may be recalled that staunch Ganesha-bhakt-- Deepika had got herself admitted into the maternity hospital on Saturday, on the special auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Just the previous day, Ranveer and she visited the sacred Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi (Mumbai) to seek advance blessings.
