What ‘special boon’ did Suniel Shetty pray for --at grand, devotional ‘Saraswati Puja’ hosted by Chitrani Lahiri, Rego, Rema and Govind Bansal at Lahiri House ? by Chaitanya Padukone

Taking forward the ancestral devotional legacy started by composer-singer Aparesh-da Lahiri followed by his son legendary global music-icon 'late' appi-da Lahiri at Lahiri House, the sacred festival of Saraswati Puja-Basant Panchami was celebrated with diligent devotion and divine grandeur. The elaborate Puja ceremony and rituals were graciously co-hosted by  Mrs. Chitrani Lahiri, Govind Bansal, Rema Lahiri, and Rego B who welcomed and looked after the invited guests

Even as the background vocals of sacred Saraswati Vanda mantra (‘Yaa Kundendu….’). in Bappi-da’s vibrant voice resonated, everyone (including me) could feel the divine energy vibes.  The Puja ceremony was dedicated to  Goddess Saraswati, the revered Goddess of wisdom, knowledge, education, music, and the creative-- performing arts,

Various celebs from the entertainment and music industry, had also come to seek blessings from the magnificent idol of Maa Saraswati-Devi  The distinguished celeb-guests included popular multi-faceted fitness-icon star-actor Suniel Shetty, Sumona Chakravarti, Anusmriti Sarkar, Jeet Ganguli, Nandita Puri, singer Chandrani Mukherjee,  veteran composer Rono Mukherjee ( father of Sharbani Mukherjee) and Babloo ( Keshto)  Mukherjee.  
 The modest, honest macho-man star Suniel Shetty after offering his sincere Prayers to Maa Saraswati at Lahiri House, also praised legend composer-singer Bappi-da’s musical legacy as being evergreen and immortal. “ Shared Suniel,” Today, when I prayed to Maa Saraswati-Devi here, and even whenever I visit temples and religious pandals, I always appeal for a boon of good health and peace for everyone. As far as Rema and  Govind-jee is concerned, they are more like an extended family-bonding and we meet four times a week,” revealed Suniel who apparently also has a business venture collaboration with Govind Bansal.

In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Mrs. Chitrani Lahiri, Govind Bansal, Rema Lahiri, and ( the youngest (4-D Rockstar) Rego B. shared, _“Saraswati Puja is not just a festival; it is a moment of divine communion, where we seek wisdom, creativity, and inner peace. We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who joined us in this spiritual celebration, and we pray that Maa Saraswati’s blessings illuminate our paths and their paths with knowledge and prosperity.”_

Senior showbiz actor Babloo Mukherjee was sentimental as he shared,” Since my childhood l have been visiting Bappi-da's house with my Dad ( Keshto) during his life-time.  Since past few years l have been attending Sarswati Puja in Bappi da's house. Feel so touched and blessed. The warmth,  positivity, encouraging kind-words the Lahiri family showers on all guests is so genuine. Honestly, I feel so blessed and energetic attending Saraswati Puja in Bappi-da's house.  Bappi-da was the only one who helped me in my initial acting career, he had introduced me to South Indian film industry that too in eminent  K Balachander-ji's movie, produced by Mr. R. C. Prakash. May God bless the entire Lahiri-Bansal family,” reacted Babloo.
