Pankaj Tripathi is known for his authentic and down to earth acting. In his new film 'Metro... In Dinon', he has played a very bold and different role. This film directed by Anurag Basu is already being liked a lot, but this scene of Tripathi has become a topic of special discussion these days.
Pankaj Tripathi Runs Bare in Public for Bold Scene, Calls It ‘Shocking Experience’
For an important part of the film, Pankaj Tripathi had to shoot not on a closed film set, but in a real city. He was wearing very little clothes, which orthodic people can call nude. In such a condition, he had to run on busy roads among real public. This was not done to shock people, but because it was needed in the story. Tripathi said that he had never done such a scene before. He told, 'This was a new experience for me and really shocked me. I was nervous because people around did not know that we were shooting for the film. Their reactions of staring at me in amazement were real and we even used hidden cameras to capture those moments.'
Tripathi said that this scene is an important part of the story. This is where the twist comes in the story. He prepared for it by running for several days before the shoot. He said, 'Without this scene, the story would not feel real. I hope people will understand why it was needed after watching the film.'
Director Anurag Basu is known for showing true emotions and stories that connect with everyone in his audience. In this film, he has put together many talented actors in one story, but Tripathi's performance stands out for its realism and courage. This scene is something that shows how far an actor can take a story to make it feel real and close to life.
Pankaj Tripathi's job in 'Metro...In Dinon' is not just to play a role but to live the character. He trusted the director and the story, even when it meant going too far beyond his comfort zone. The audience will be able to see his passion and the real reactions of the people when the film releases in cinemas on July 4, 2025, i.e. sometimes the most memorable moments in films come from true, courageous acting. Pankaj Tripathi has given his best, and his fans are excited to see this new side of him on the big screen.
