Why Ranveer Singh compared 'Dhurandhar' heroine Sara Arjun to Hollywood star actress Hannah Dakota Fanning? By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

At the spectacular Dhurandhar recent film’s trailer launch in Mumbai macho hero Ranveer Singh couldn’t stop praising his 20-year-old charming co-star Sara Arjun ! . Ranveer called her “a prodigy,”  and even comparing her to 31-year-old gorgeous Hollywood actor Hannah Dakota Fanning who ( like Sara Arjun) was previously a famous precocious child-actor star and is now a multiple-award-winning popular Hollywood star actress-model.

Said chivalrous Ranveer who seemed 'fidaa' over Sara's personality and talent, . “Sara here is a prodigy. You just know some people are prodigies since childhood — much like Dakota Fanning in Hollywood,” Ranveer said. “It’s a testament to you that you beat thousands of other candidates to land this part. It feels like she has done 50 films before this. So precocious as a person, as a performer. Sara, you are one of the finest actors that I have shared the screen with,”  said Ranveer.

Model-actress Sara Arjun who has acted in several South-side regional movies and also in Hindi movies  was specially appreciated  in legendary Mani Ratnam’s 2022-23 movies PS-1 and PS-2 where Sara played the on-screen younger version of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. .

Speaking about Sara, producer Jyoti Deshpande ( top-boss JIO Studious) said, "She packs a punch in the film and holds her own. She is also one of the 'dhurandhars' in the film."

Talented National Film Award-winning film director Aditya Dhar revealed that his team conducted nearly 1,300 auditions before selecting Sara for the role. He said, "Casting director Mukesh Chhabra had done almost 1,300 auditions, and she was the one we chose. She was brilliant and simply the best. She is going to be a Rockstar.!
