Heavenly stars twinkling above and TV stars sparkling below in their glam-allure on the roof-top Zerua venue at Worli ! The cheerful occasion was the 'private' birthday celebration of popular TV star actor Abhay Vakil in the presence of invitee celeb guests! Which comprised a galaxy of TV stars, eminent doctors from the medical fraternity and of course, leading showman film-producer and TIPS top-boss Ramesh Taurani ! 

What made this "jhoomenge,-naachenge-khaayenge-aaish karenge--aur kya" BDay Celebration, 'zaraa hatke' was--- that the 'ageless' amazing actor-dancer-model Abhay (who idolizes iconic Aamir Khan) did Not have the tradition of compulsory birthday 'cake--cutting' ritual.. Not just that, even in his "Sundowner" party Invitation, there was No mention at all of a birthday celebration,

When asked to explain his maverick logic, the affable Abhay Vakil reacted with " Birthday parties for me are an occasion of expressing Gratitude. As this sentimental re-union of all my old showbiz friends are like Blessings in form of well wishers ! Deviating from the routine norm, I chucked away the traditional cake-cutting ritual and introduced 'shots'! Which said toast of Gratitude and every Guest present got an individual message-note like a Fortune Cookie !  A divine coincidence is that Abhay shares his birthday ( Feb 1st) with his caring, warm hearted mother Mrs Asha Arun Vakil, who is also a noted Bharata Natyam classical danseuse;..  

From the South Mumbai top-ranking medical fraternity, the eminent guests included "saviour" Doctors including Dr. Mahesh Kapadia, Dr. Snehal Sanghvi, Dr. Kulin Kothari ( also known for his altruistic charity missions), Dr. Pankaj Parekh  and Dr. Meena Kothari.
