Why was debutante ‘stree' Anjini (Binny) Dhawan thrilled when mega-hit ‘Stree 2’ team came specially to bless her movie and song Zindagi? By Chaitanya Padukone

The highly anticipated melodious track ‘Zindagi’, of the movie Binny and Family, releasing this Friday (Sept 27th) which is beautifully picturized as a background song on debutant Anjini Dhawan & Pankaj Kapur, was recently launched at The Club. The launch was in the presence of lucky-mascots mega-hit ‘Stree 2’ ( box-office Rs 600 Crore plus) team. The event saw the ‘Stree-2’ star-team including acclaimed director Amar Kaushik, eminent writer Niren Bhatt, and star actor Abhishek Banerjee heartily complimenting 'Binny And Family' entire cast and crew Which included  Anjini Dhawan, Rajesh Kumar, Naman Tripaathy producer Mahaveer Jain, and director Ssanjay Tripaathy for its excellent trailer and the new emotional lyrical background song ‘Zindagi’.

Beautifully sung and composed by the talented Vishal Mishra, with lyrics by Kaushal Kishore, the heart-touching song beautifully captures the film's essence and delivers an emotional message to the audience. Co-presenter Mrighdeep Singh Lamba was also present at the launch of this special track, while Shashank Khaitan sent his wishes as he couldn’t attend the event. The Zindagi song launch event very well anchored by actress-model Bhavya Chauhan. Also invited to the event was popular singer-actress Anamta K who sang the female version track of the song ‘Zindagi’ and she also performed the same song live on the launch occasion.   Among the special guests was Bollywood glam star-actress Ishita Chauhan who was launched by Himesh Reshammiya in his Aap Ka Suroor as a child-artiste and later featured in the romantic lead in ( mega-hit ‘Gadar’ fame) director Anil Sharma’s movie Genius..

The audience was treated with a twist-surprise as Vishal Mishra sent a heartfelt video message for the audience praising the film and its makers for making such an emotional and heart-touching film. 

Speaking about the Zindagi song, a thrilled Anjini Dhawan said, "The song is very close to my heart. It is one of my favorites, and ever since I have heard it, it has been on the top of my playlist. I am sure that the audience will fall in love with it too!" Mahaveer Jain added, "Vishal's voice has magic. It instantly hits the right chord with the audience. I am sure this song will also replicate the success he is experiencing. The song is beautifully penned, and will resonate with the viewers."

Also, present at the song-launch event were Anjini’s emotionally thrilled real-life grandfather Anil Dhawan, and her real–life parents  Reena Dhawan (mother) and  Anjini’s father popular celeb-actor Siddharth Dhawan. Speaking exclusively, Anjini’s father Siddharth Dhawan said,  "My heart is bursting with pride as my daughter Anjini will take this incredible leap into her acting career. Her debut film Binny & Family is a testament to her talent, hard work, and dedication. I'm so excited to see what she will achieve. Her strength intelligence and kind heart inspire us as parents .. Its my honour and pride to be Anjini’s father and by God’ss grace and his will would love to see her fulfill my dreams,” shared Siddharth.

What took the excitement a notch up was a heart-to-heart conversation between Stree 2's creative team and the cast of 'Binny And Family'... Modest, unassuming director Amar Kaushik  ( of biggest superhit Stree-2 fame) said,” No film should be considered small or big, it’s the audience that makes the movie a big blockbuster. And ‘Binny & Family’ has the emotional power content  to strike the emotional chords three generations of every family and prove successful as a social entertainer with a strong social message.,” While Abhishek Banerjee said that like his Stree-2 co-star Varun Dhawan, even ‘Binny’ Anjini Dhawan was like their extended family and hence they have extended their full support.  Said Abhishek, “ Today’s high-tech young generation is super-smart and most often they take their own right decisions. But they should also respect and value the support of their highly-experienced parents and grandparents,”.

But the climax witty repartee on stage came from Rajesh Kumar (popular character of ‘Rosesh’- from TV show ‘Sarabhai versus Sarabhai’ fame )  who now plays the UK settled screen-father of Anjini Dhawan  when he decided to point out the common difference between Stree 2 and Binny and Family. Addressing the Stree-2 team, actor Rajesh said “Aap log hansate hansate, ‘daraate’ ho--- aur hum log hansaate, hansaate- ‘rulaate’ hain,” for which he got a thunderous applause.
