Why was 'threatening' villain Sathyaraj (of 'Kattappa fame) in 'Sikandar' delighted at Salman Khan's trailer-launch event? by Chaitanya Padukone

"Main teeno ko kaatt kay rakh doonga" threatens star actor-villain Sathyaraj in blockbuster action-drama 'Sikandar,' releasing this Sunday, March 30th! Known for his iconic role as 'Kattappa' in the epic blockbuster movie Baahubali, the modest, dignified Sathyaraj was the surprise star attraction at the trailer launch of Salman Khan mega-movie starrer Sikandar, directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

It may be recalled that in a different decent South Indian  'get-up,' Sathyaraj had also played Deepika Padukone's father in Rohit Shetty's Hindi movie 'Chennai Express' ( 2013) with Shah Rukh Khan as the romantic hero.

 Addressing the invited media and audience, the frank Sathyaraj, who plays a corrupt villainish minister in Sikandar, said that Salman introduced him as "Papa meet 'Kattappa' to his father Salim-saab who was attending the trailer-launch. Sathyaraj said, "The happiest thing that happened to me today was that Salman-jee introduced to his legendary writer-actor father Salim-saab. More than acting with Salman-jee, it was a great opportunity personally meeting Salim-saab. Because as a young student, I was fascinated with the talented duo Salim-Javed, whose excellent stories, scripts, and dialogues created so many star heroes. After watching this Sikandar trailer, I am very stunned and impressed, and my sincere thanks to Murugadoss-Sir. As a versatile star-actor and star villain I am in the showbiz industry for the past 47 years and I have acted in nearly 250 movies. Actually, I have done over 100 South regional films as a 'hero;. In the South regional remake of Hukumat, I played Dharmendra-jee's lead role, and in Agneepath-- South remake, I was cast in Amitabh-jee's lead character, and in 3-Idiots remake, I played Boman Irani's character. Now in Sikandar, director Murugadoss has brought me back as the 'sarcastic villain'  which was a trend-setter which I had started playing in past many decades ago South movies, " disclosed Sathyaraj who has also acted in a 'triple-villain' role in this South regional movie Villadhi Villain ( means The Ultimate Villain) which he also 'directed'

How was modest Sathyaraj's experience working with Sikandar-Salman "It was a wonderful experience working with great person Salman-Sir. I was made very comfortable, even without knowing the Hindi language. But in this movie Sikandar, I regret, I don't have any combination scenes with Rashmika Mandanna," disclosed Sathyaraj.
