Known as one of the most prominent platforms in the United States for LGBTQ+ content, Deku's inclusion of 'Love Is Love' is an important step for Indian cinema in the global LGBTQ+ community. Kapil Kaustubh Sharma says, “With ‘Love Is Love’ we aim to break barriers and bring forward stories of the LGBTQ+ community that deserve to be heard“Releasing on Deku, a platform that supports LGBTQ+ narratives, is an important milestone for us and reaffirms our commitment to inclusivity and representation.” The film, which has already received international accolades, is a trilogy of the 13 international award-winning 'Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun' series. 'Love Is Love' stars Kitu Gidwani, Zarina Wahab, Kapil Kaustubh Sharma, Yuvraj Parashar, Bidita Bag, Shahjahan and Mona Ambegaonkar. The story spans four phases from 2002 to 2023, with Kittu Gidwani playing a roadside prostitute for the first time in her illustrious career. Written and directed by Kapil Kaustubh Sharma and produced by Yuvraj Parashar, 'Love Is Love' has music composed by Zeenat Aman's son Zahaan Khan and Nikhil Kamath. The film's inclusion on Deku is expected to reach a wider audience, advance the discussion on LGBTQ+ issues, and promote acceptance and understanding. ‘Love Is Love’ will stream on Deku, cementing its position as a leading force in Indian LGBTQ+ cinema and continuing the legacy of its acclaimed predecessors.
