On a sentimental note, Anupam Kher said, "My last conversation with him was just 2 to 3 days ago when I came back after finishing the shooting of my film Signature. I told him that he was such a fabulous actor, and if I could do even 10 per cent of it, I would feel blessed."
As a proactive CINTAA member, Anupam Kher requested the Hon Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis to consider payment of royalty for actors from OTT and other telecasts that would benefit senior actors and CINTAA members who are not having enough work at present.. While Paresh Rawal expressed his gratitude to Devendra Fadnavis who made this occasion very special by giving his invaluable contribution.
CINTAA President Manoj Joshi's passionate speech replete with interesting anecdotes was a touching vocal tribute to the “master of acting”—Vikram G.
State Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis was modest and unassuming when he spoke. “Such great personalities like Vikram Gokhale are immortalized with such initiatives. When our names are also associated with these, we also become part of this glorious tribute process. It is a great honour for me to be here. Vikram Gokhale ji was a die-hard nationalist with a magnetic personality. He ruled people's hearts."
Vikram Gokhale was an immensely popular honorary President of CINTAA from 2017 to 2022. He had also donated one acre of land to CINTAA for Hindi Cinema and one acre to Marathi Cinema actors to build an old age home. Fadnavis-jee has promised CINTAA that he would fulfil Vikram Gokhle's dream.
