“Everyone on set found my bridal ensemble similar to Kiara’s”, says Kumkum Bhagya’s Mugdha Chaphekar

Zee TV’s immensely popular primetime drama Kumkum Bhagya has kept its audience hooked with intriguing twists and turns in Ranbir's (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi’s (Mugdha Chaphekar) lives. In the recent episodes, viewers witnessed how the tables have turned, as Ranbir has stepped back from marrying Rhea (Tina Philip) at the last minute so that he can stop Prachi and Akshay’s (Abhishek Malik) wedding. And as soon as he reaches the wedding venue, he faints, and eventually, Prachi gets married to Akshay. While the wedding sequence of the show is seeing some high-octane drama, Mugdha’s resplendent look as the bride has got everyone raving.  As soon as Mugdha stepped out of her makeup room, the co-actors and crew members on set couldn’t help but notice how closely her look resembled popular actress Kiara Advani’s famous bridal attire.  She was wearing a rather extravagant baby pink colour lehenga instead of going with the quintessential bridal look. The outfit was paired with a statement green necklace, Chooda, and Gajra. In fact, Mugdha was showered with numerous compliments from not just the team members, but her fans as well when she posted her look on social media.

Mugdha Chaphekar mentioned,

“Dressing up as a bride for the show is not a new experience for me, but what definitely was amazing and surreal was when everyone on the set found my bridal ensemble similar to Kiara Advani’s wedding look. I would give all the credit to my creative team for giving me such a rich and elegant look for the marriage sequence. As soon as I stepped out after getting ready, I got so many compliments for this look, and I just can’t wait for my fans and viewers to watch the upcoming track.”

While Mugdha was showered with loads of compliments for her bridal avatar, how will Ranbir react when he will get to know that the love of his life is married to someone else?  Will Rhea ever forgive Ranbir for leaving her at the wedding Mandap?
