The film 'Raksha Bandhan' is helmed by Aanand L Rai, the film is scheduled to release on August 11. Earlier, Akshay was seen in Aanand L Rai's film Atrangi Re. Actress Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar have also worked together in the past in "Toilet Ek Prem Katha" released in 2017.
