Gossip mills were abuzz with reports of Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Roy Kapur not being on talking terms owing to a tiff which involved Shraddha Kapoor. However, latest developments suggest something entirely different! Not only do the actors seem to have burried the alleged hatchet but might be seen sharing the screen together for the first time in Mohit Suri's next.
Mohit Suri had earlier revealed to the media that he and Goldie Behl had approached Farhan recently with a script based on a father-son relationship. Apparently Farhan really liked the idea and the makers were on the lookout for another actor for a role that’s parallel to Farhan’s. We hear the filmmaker has finally found his second hero. “Mohit has decided to cast Farhan and Aditya (Roy Kapur) together. He needed a younger actor and when he narrated the script to Adi, he loved it and immediately said yes. Also, after having worked together in Aashqui 2, both the actor and the director wanted to repeat the magic and possibly the success of their last film together. Farhan and Aditya will have separate tracks that will eventually come together,” revealed a source.
In fact, the two actors have apparently even started to prep for the film soon and Farhan will be bulking up to essay the role of a boxer. Initially there were also rumours that Mohit Suri has approached his favourite girl, Shraddha Kapoor to play the leading lady in the film but the actress recently denied these reports asserting that Mohit hasn’t approached or spoken to her about any film.
All we are waiting for is an official statement from the makers of the film.
