CONFIRMED: PADMAVAT WILL BE RELEASED ON 25 JANUARY

A few weeks ago, the film Padmavat which is embroiled in controversy over its plot has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after some modifications in the film and the title of the feature film. But it seems problems are not over yet for the makers of the film because after Rajasthan, now Gujrat government has also decided that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's  Padmaavat will not be released in Gujarat as well.

On Friday the chief minister of Gujarat,  Vijay Rupani said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial film 'Padmavat' will be not released in the state.

Apart from  Rajasthan and Gujrat, earlier in the month of November, other states like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana had also indicated that the film will not be allowed to release in their state. But their final announcements are yet to come on this.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor is all set to relase on 25 January.
