By acting in the film “Queen”, Kangana Ranaut assured herself of being the best actress. Kangana established many new dimensions of acting in this film. But after that, her acting is continuously declining. The film “Tejas” released on October 27 is a symbol of his poor acting and thinking. The story of 'Tejas' is not based on any real character or incident, but it is the brainchild of the filmmaker and Kangana, which is strange and worrying.
Story:
The film "Tejas" has no connection with any true event or real character. This is the story of a fictional and courageous Indian Air Force officer Tejas Gill (Kangana Ranaut), who once disobeyed the orders of her superiors and is under investigation. Indian Air Force brings a soldier back from an unknown tribal island. Yet she sets out on a mission aboard a fighter plane named Tejas to rescue an Indian RAW agent. The basic reason for this is that Tejas Gill has personal enmity with terrorists. On 16 November 2008, some terrorists attacked a hotel in Mumbai, in which Tejas lost her parents, younger brother, and singer boyfriend (Varun Mitra). She wants to take co-fighter pilot Aafia (Anshul Chauhan) with her on this mission. Tejas is a multi-tasker, she decodes the messages sent by the Indian RAW agent kidnapped by militants in the blink of an eye, while the entire Indian defense machinery is unable to do so. Her passion for the nation is appreciated not only by her superiors but also by our Prime Minister (Mohan Agashe). Well, Tejas and co-pilot Aafia together land with two Tejas planes on Pakistani soil with the help of Norway. Then she goes to the desert area of Pakistan, Waziristan, and returns to an Indian spy named Prashant after eliminating the terrorists. Prashant says that today at seven in the evening when the temple of 'Lord Shri Ram Janmabhoomi' will be inaugurated, only then a bomb will be blasted there. Tejas delivers this news to seniors in India. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is secured. Three terrorists are killed. Then Tejas turns back alone towards the Pakistani border to eliminate Mukhtani, who sent these terrorists, and while eliminating Mukhtani, she herself becomes martyred.
Film Review:
An unsuccessful attempt was made to serve patriotism and nationalism through the script. There is emptiness in the film. There is nothing in the film that would appeal to people of any age or group. Sarvesh Mewada fails miserably as both story writer and director. But it is being said that Kangana did not allow director Sarvesh Mewada to walk on the set. Even if this is true, Sarvesh Mewada is responsible for making this poor film reach the audience. Was his own conscience dead, that instead of distancing himself from the film, he danced to Kangana's tune and made the wrong film? By presenting an exact model of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the filmmaker even showed the terrorists the way to attack it. Wow, your nationalism and you’re your patriotism. In the film, the way Tejas and IIFA fool Pakistani officials after landing two Tejas planes from a Norwegian cargo plane at their military airport inside Pakistan, is believable. I don't think so. At one place in the film, Aafia tells her superiors - "This is the new India, it will enter the house and kill." Hearing this dialogue, one wonders if this is a sequel to the film 'Uri'. What I mean to say is that the film conveys such darkness that no one can accept it. There is a complete lack of human emotions and feelings in the film.
Presenting a unique form of nationalism, the filmmaker and Kangana Ranaut have also cast a Muslim Indian Air Force officer as Aafia in the film. The VFX and editing of the film are also messed up.
Acting:
Kangana Ranaut's acting is very disappointing. Now, instead of acting, Kangana has become the queen of social media only, where she is seen spreading hatred and dividing society through her actions. Anshul Chauhan is as endearing as Aafia, she has her moments where she shines even in the presence of Kangana Ranaut. Varun Mitra has looked very good. Ashish Vidyarthi could not do anything except repeat himself. Vishak Nair makes his presence felt on the screen.
