Filmmaker Nipun Dharmadhikari To Chair Session With Maharashtra Cm On A Gen Y Platform

For what might be the first time in Maharashtrian politics, the state’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will converse with young voters in Nagpur, the constituency that he was elected in. The national-award winning film director Nipun Dharmadhikari will chair the session while audience members will exclusively be from ages ranging 18 to 35. The questionnaire has been created after thorough research and curated from an online poll. The event has been organised by the Marathi channel Bharatiya Digital Party. Commonly known as BhaDiPa, the channel recently became only one content creator in the Asia-Pacific region to get funded under the Google News Initiative. It is under this initiative that BhaDiPa has now launched their new socio-political platform, Vishay Khol. The event is Nagpur is being organised as the premiere of Vishay Khol’s flagship show Lok Manch. The conversation will begin with a Vision Statement for the episode. This will be followed by a 45-50 minute long round of questions and answers. VishayKhol’s research team has already been on the road for a few weeks interacting with citizens and gathering questions for the same. The channel also recently opened a poll with 27 questions online for citizens to choose the questions they find most essential. 10 questions will be curated from this poll, 5 questions will come from the live audience members while 5 more questions will be streamed during the programme.
Live audience for the show will also be curated by the team and will include young representatives of various sections of the society. The event is scheduled for Saturday, 2nd February 2019 at the Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur from 2pm - 4pm.
