Finally,  funster actor and stand-up comedy star-host Kapil Sharma who prefers evading discussing about his wife Ginni’s on-going pregnancy, finally  ‘opened up’ this evening regarding his ‘to-be-father’ status. Known for being an ideal caring ‘beta’ to his doting mother, and for his ‘quirky’ humour, the outspoken Kapil said, “ When my child grows up into a little kid he or she will enjoy watching a kiddies film like ‘The Angry Birds-2’ where I have dubbed for the angry birdie ‘Red’ .Obviously at that very young age, he or she will not want to watch movies like ‘Sholay’, “ quipped Sharma who  disclosed that while ‘dubbing for ‘Red’ in Hindi he not only used his own original voice and his anokha andaaz, he has also done an impromptu occasional imitation of  Dharmendra-paaji’s voice and Nana Patekar’s crackling-bass style and tone.

The family entertainer movie ‘The Angry Birds-2’ is being released by Sony Pictures, on Friday August 23, when there is no other new Hindi movie release. “It was a masti-bhara yet creative challenge for all three of us and a wonderful learning experience, dubbing for someone else that too a Hindi version of a Hollywood animation movie,” enthuses Kapil who was supported by Archana Puran Singh ( known for her infectious spontaneous laughter) who has dubbed for animated character ‘Zeta’ while Kiku Sharda has dubbed for ‘Leonard’ with the ‘Bhojpuri’ tadka, calling ‘Red’ as ‘Red-wa’. The launch event was presided over by Vivek Krishnani, MD-Sony Pictures, who shared that “Kapil Sharma is the right choice because his vibrant voice is loved pan-India by both adults and kids and Kapil in turn loves ‘red’ colour and birds.”
