First Motion Poster Of “Mann Fakira” Directed By Popular Actress Mrinmayi Deshpande To Be Released On The Valentine Day - February 14 Unveiled

Mrunmayee Deshpande, the noted actress from Marathi movies and TV serials, makes a debut as the Director of Mann Fakira, a Marathi film, which is all set for release on February 14, the Valentine Day. The producers of the film recently unveiled the first motion poster of “Mann Fakira featuring lead stars Suvrat Joshi, Sayli Sanjeev, Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan.

Produced by S N Productions and Smita Vinay Ganu, Nitin Prakash Vaidya, Om Prakash Bhatt, Sujay Shankarwar and Kishor Patel with co-producer Trupti Kulkarni and Pranav Chaturvedi, Mann Fakira is presented by Purple Bull International Private Limited and Smita Film Productions.

Mrunmayee says, “Maan Fakira’ is going to be a trendsetting film which talks about the human relationship and depicts the openness of the young generation the way they look at it. The youngsters today look the marital bond much beyond a binding of relationship. The definition of the bond for the youngsters has changed and they have started looking at it in a broader perspective. They have more maturity in their relationship now and do check first if spending the entire life with him/her was possible. They expect a companion and a friend in the husband/wife rather than just a namesake relationship.”

The story has been written by Mrunmayee for her directorial debut. While speaking about the venture which revolves around the impressive and out-of-the-box story, she says, “I always wanted to be a director and it had been at the back of my mind for last ten years. Direction is not new for me. I had won a prize for best direction for a one act play directed by me when I was in third year of the degree course.  I was waiting for an opportune time to shoulder the responsibility. The directorial stint needs a certain amount of maturity and adequate amount of experience learnt from the life. I think I have shouldering the responsibility at the right time.”

While speaking about the story and her attempt to pen it, Mrunmayee said, “Human relationship is the subject very close to my heart. I can read the people from their body language, their eyes. Human relationship is something which needs to be learnt by going in depth of them. They become interesting if showcased with simplicity and fineness. I have tried to express the delicate relationship and its every little aspect through this story.  Being my first film as a director, Mann Fakira is very special to me. I am sure Marathi audience, especially the modern young generation will love it.”
