Firstcut Collaborates With Famous Film & TV Actor, Manish Goel

Delhi-registered Vircorn Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which owns and operates the online audition app ‘FirstCut’, announced its collaboration with Manish Goel for providing mentorship to FirstCut’s premium users through a video series available exclusively on the app. Manish Goel has  a rich experience of around 20 years in the film & TV industry. As an outsider hailing from Delhi, he too faced many challenges & struggled his way to land his first major opportunity in Kasautii Zindagii Kay for which he also won the Best Actor in a Comic Role. Later on he did many prime time shows like Ayushman Bhava, Sara Akash, Adalat, Bhabhi and more.

FirstCut recently released a trailer featuring Manish Goel, which hinted at providing the app’s users, mainly aspiring talents, with useful tips from a point of view of an industry insider. In the trailer, Manish talked about sharing his experiences during his struggle days with an objective to help struggling actors to make the right decisions on how to establish their career in the entertainment world.

On speaking with the Co-founder of FirstCut, Kunal Singhal, revealed that they have plans to bring on-board many other renowned artists from theatre, Singers, modeling, music industry who can be a source of regular mentorship and guidance to the app users.

“As a team, we have always focused on tapping the potentials of the aspiring talents from Tier1 & Tier2 cities. We found that though the talent in these cities is immense but they lack the right exposure and resources. This got us thinking as we really wanted to add value to our users and enhance their experience when they use our app. So we thought of introducing a mentorship program to enable our users with the knowledge & insights that can improve their chances to and their dream opportunity”, he said.

FirstCut boasts of more than 1,00,000+ subscribers and provides opportunities to talents from various fields like acting, singing, modeling & music. More than 6000 aspiring candidates have been shortlisted till date for the next level auditions from the app and more than 100+ candidates have got their first break through FirstCut.
