Florian Hurel Comes Up With A Place For Fitness!

Jyothi Venkatesh | Ace makeup and hairstylist Florian Hurel is coming up with a new place in the Western suburbs for fitness based on CrossFit / Multifunctional Box. Sharing details about it, he says, "FlofitBox is a project which I had dreamt of since many years and never really took the time out to realize it. A box in the fitness industry is known as a place to practice CrossFit and multifunctional circuits. Crossfit is also an advanced form of multifunctional training. It is a mix of strength Olympic, cardiovascular and gymnastics movements. We will have high qualified trainers. The classes will start from morning from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., We have also designed an open area of approx 350 sqft for personal training clients as well. The class area is about 1000 square feet. We are also providing facilities like an ice bath and a hot shower.”

Florian says, ”The name of the place as well as the design of it comes from my life partner Rii, I find the name very logical.”Florian who himself is a great fitness enthusiast says, ”Fitness has always been a part of my life from a young age. I discovered CrossFit about six years back and fell in love with the sport and the spirit of it. The community is really nice and warm. People know each other, work out together and cheer each other. It’s open to beginners as well as athletes. I believe I wouldn’t be where I am without my wife and fitness. Fitness is definitely a way of being, It does keep you grounded, calm, and stable.”

What kind of message do you want to convey to the young people especially who are obsessed in gaining muscles and abs? “Being fit isn’t just about having muscles. Muscles don't make anyone fit. We have seen many examples of bodybuilders stepping in a Crossfit box and not been able to do the regular exercises. I would advise youngsters to eat healthy, workout and push their limits without really thinking of gaining muscle. Muscles automatically come with the right training program. And my mantra of the Flofitbox would be 'Go Hard or Go Home'.”Celebrities like Yami Gautam, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pooja Hegde and Tamannaah have already congratulated Florian for his new venture. Meanwhile, Florian and his team are waiting for further notification from the government so that they can inaugurate the place.
