For Shruti Ulfat Playing In BCL Is A Different Experience

She was the captain of the winning team last BCL, actor Shruti Ulfat is thoroughly enjoying this season too. While the league is all about some good cricket, other hilarious things also happen and this is what makes the game even more interesting, says Shruti. “I saw a lot of players crashing into each other, it was stupidly hilarious. I was like are they really playing cricket? This is what makes BCL, BCL,” she adds

The actor has always been a big fan of BCL. “I am a very sporty person in my real life as I have been a sportswoman and I love watching cricket, tennis and football so of course, I wouldn't miss the chance to play cricket. I love to play in BCL as it's a different experience. Many actors come together not to act but to play a sport. I loved my experience of playing cricket in BCL last year as I captained my team Lucknow Nawabs and won the trophy. This year unfortunately, Lucknow Nawabs was not participating hence I played with Chennai Swaggers. I am hoping this year as well we win. I love this format and cheers to Marinating films and Balaji telefilms to have this in our lives every year,” she says.

BCL is considered to be a league which has cricket and drama, says Shruti. “Cricket, drama and entertainment are part of this format. As far as I am concerned, I love playing and I get completely involved in the sport, drama I leave aside for my acting,” she adds.

Ask her what does she have to say about Rakhi Sawant, who has been constant part of BCL, and she says, “Rakhi Sawant is just amazing, I love her boldness, admire her guts and her conviction in whatever she says or does. She adds a lot of spice and wackiness mixed with fun. She is lovely person and a performer as well.”
