This is the second season of four unapologetically flawed women who live, love, lust blunder and discover what really makes them tick through friendship and tequila in millennial Mumbai. It is about Dee (Sayani Gupta) an emotionally, while she's torn between the love of her life Jeh (Prateik Babbar) and Aamir Warsi (Milind Soman), her hot gynecologist. It’s about Siddhi (Maanvi Ghagru) gives stand-up comedy a shot after chatting with Amit Mishra (Prabal Panjabi), a comic she first met at the Truck Bar.

It is also about Umang Singh (Bani J) who finds focus once more when she takes on the responsibility of physically and mentally healing her lesbian girlfriend Samara (Liza Ray) . In its second season too, the web series Four More Shots Please!' continues its refreshingly bold walk and talk, with the women conversing on everything from sexual kinks to body fluids, even as the show deep-dives into more serious issues like gender dynamics, polyamory and anti natalism and a woman’s vagina is compared to a golf course because it has more than one hole.

It is also about Anjana Menon (Kirti Kulhari) who continues to power on in her high profile job as a top-notch lawyer but faces sexism at work, an emptiness in her love life and an uncomfortable equation with her former husband Varun ( Neil Bhoopalam) and . This desi take on Sex and the City refocuses on the lives of the four best friends, reuniting in the first episode this season after the last season ended with the hitherto inseparable friends being torn apart by chaos in their personal lives.

Continuing to be a breezy and entertaining watch, in its riveting Season 2 the controversial web series sets out to touch upon everything from no-strings-attached relationships to unplanned pregnancies, even as it lays bare boldly the typical issues that plague women on a daily basis— from facing discrimination at work to being unfairly judged at face value,  from no-strings-attached relationships to unplanned pregnancies, from diapers to condoms and one night stands and losing virginity.

Sayani Gupta is excellent as far as emoting is concerned. Kudos to Prateik Babbar for having played his part with perfection bringing to his role a rare kind of realism while Milind Suman as Dr Aamir Warsi fits his elderly role to the T. Kirti Kulhari is good but unfortunately does not sound at all a Menon with her North Indian accent. Shibani Dandekar has hardly any role to perform while Sameer Kochchar as Shashank Bose has been wasted with a half baked role. So are Neil Bhoopalam and Prabal Punjabi. Umang and Lisa Ray live their roles as lesbians who find it difficult to ‘adjust’ status-wise.

If you have not seen Season 1 of Four More Shots, grab your subscription to it and then follow it up with both Season 2 and the next season next year. Because it is flawless, frank and fearless and what’s more, overwhelming, overruling and also very exasperating all at the same time, all thanks to director Nupur Asthana.
