The preview of Khaali Peeli which released on October 2nd received a full house attendance at the ŠKODA presents Supermoon Drive-in. After almost six months of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, fans were able to watch a Bollywood movie on the big screen. The first of its kind drive-in experience hosted 6 shows in Gurugram spread across the long weekend from Oct 2- Oct 4, 2020.

Patrons were able to once again step out of their house with their families to enjoy a Bollywood movie on the big screen within the safety of their cars. Facilities like contact-less ticketing, F&B arrangements and a wide array of other safety precautions were undertaken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons.

Speaking on the success of the first Drive-in preview in India, Swaroop Banerjee, COO and Business Head, Zee Live said, “We are extremely thrilled with the overwhelming response we received from the patrons at India’s first Drive-in. It was incredible to see that people had been waiting for over 7 months to enter some kind of live entertainment, the cars came in sharp on time, hassle free sanitized entries, a bag full popcorn, sanitizer and a mask was given, ushers directed them to their parking slots, a 45 feet by 25 feet LED made for an unforgettable viewing with audio experience and finally a planned seamless exit with no one having to wait for more than 7 minutes.
