What does fitness mean to you?
Fitness to me is not only physical. I feel being mentally positive and happy is equally important. Staying happy and positive is the first step towards your fitness journey.
Your fitness mantra?
Laugh a little more and stay positive. Don’t be too hard on yourself with strict diets but yes, avoid junks as much as you can. But also never forget to give yourself a day pass for your favourite cheat-meal.
How do you keep a healthy balance between your mind and body?
I’m fortunate that while working on the sets of Baavle Utaavle, we all are always laughing and the vibe is positive. I think happy thoughts and a positive outlook encourages people to work on themselves and stay healthy.
Following your demanding and hectic routine, how do you manage to stay fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle?
I always make sure to go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week and I try to avoid processed foods as much as I can.
What kind of music do you like listening to while working out?
I don’t have any specific genre that I listen to while working out but I thoroughly enjoy the vibe in the gym and the music blends well with my workout.
Your go-to healthy snack?
The quick and easy snack to make is – ‘popcorn’. I can have it at any time of the day.
What does your cheat-meal day comprise of?
My cheat- meal day is at Maharaja Bhog! My mother and I often go together. It’s my go-to place on such cheat-days.
One food item you simply cannot resist?
Believe it or not but I love Maggi. I can never resist it.
What kind of a diet you incorporate to stay energetic throughout the day?
I incorporate a healthy Indian meal in my diet. It has the perfect balance to keep you energetic and healthy. Also, I consciously avoid the intake of junk and processed foods.
Fitness tip for your fans and viewers?
Don’t follow any rigorous diets or starve yourself. Eat everything you want but in moderation with a mix of workout every now and then. Happiness is the key to a healthy life, rest will always follow.
