FWICE EXTENDS ITS FULL COOPERATION TO THE 21 DAYS LOCKDOWN ANNOUNCED BY PRIME MINISTER SHRI NARENDRA MODI

FWICE has extended its full cooperation to the 21 days lockdown announced by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Along with that their gratitude for the relief package announcement, whose beneficiary would be daily wage labourers. FWICE is a mother body, under whom 32 departments of film crafts function under our aegis more than 5 lakh workers are registered and because of the announcement of the relief package they will have access to massive subsidised ration from their local ration shop. The film industry has always functioned like one big family and always looked after the needs of their own brethren. FWICE is working hard towards the relief & rehabilitation of its members belonging to various crafts.

We will shortly announce our programme and strategy for where we will request for donations from production houses, actors and various technicians, corporate and if need be from the government too.We have noticed that in time of this crisis, few people have started their own personal call for donations without informing any film body. Our fear is the money from the donation should not be fleeced by individuals trying to make a quick buck. We would like to warn everyone especially the people from the film industry, be careful before giving any money in the form of charity, unless and until the person or the organisation isn't affiliated with a film body or an association. Let us continue staying quarantined and maintain the personal hygiene routine along with the social distancing to win the war against Corona. We are also thankful to ail those film personalities for calling us up and offering their monetary help.
