FWICE opposes the poster of the documentary Kali

Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has objected to the poster of the documentary Kaali, directed by Leena Manimekalai - Jyothi Venkatesh

FWICE President B.N. Tiwari said that we condemn the poster of the documentary Kali which has hurt the sentiments of crores of Indians across the world.

FWICE, which has represented activists, technicians and actors from the entertainment industry on the poster of the documentary Kaali directed by Leena Manimekalai, has said that it deeply hurts all of us and sees no reason for such portrayal of a revered goddess.

This is nothing but hurting the religious sentiments of the people. Kaali's poster is highly condemnable and cannot be accepted by FWICE. B.N Tiwari has said that FWICE demands strict action against director Leena Manimekalai and we oppose the release of the said documentary in India.
