Gal Gadot adorns the avatar of wonder woman in real life as well. We are all aware of the old records that were broken and new ones which were made with the release of Wonder Woman. It was only earlier during the year that the producers confirmed the sequel of the film. The actress has announced, as reported by Page Six that she wouldn't go forward unless Warner Brothers cancels its co-financing deal with accused sexual assailant/director Brett Ratner, whose company RatPac Entertainment co-produced, and profited from, the first film. In the wake of sexual assault allegations made against Ratner, Gadot has come to this decision and in no way will tolerate Brett's interference in the forthcoming project.

A Warner Bros insider told Page Six that-

"Gadot knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.”

A Hollywood source tells Page Six that-

Gadot who last month backed out of a dinner honouring Ratner, where she was due to present him with an award — is taking a strong stance on sexual harassment in Hollywood and doesn’t want her hit “Wonder Woman” franchise to benefit a man accused of sexual misconduct.

Ratner has been accused by six women, including Olivia Munn, of sexual harassment and misconduct; another accused him of rape, and most recently Ellen Page claimed that he outed and humiliated her for her sexuality on set. Ratner made the personal choice to split from Warner Bros for the good of the company.

Gal Gadot is very sure about the fact that she wouldn't let Brett to benefit from a film being made on women empowerment. We are so proud of our wonder woman!

Warner Bros has denied the reports of Gadot’s holdout to Page Six, and neither Gadot nor Ratner has publicly commented on the story.
