Ganesh Acharya Feels -"Someone Is Creating Mischief So That My Show Does Not Take Off"

Choreographer/Director Ganesh Acharya is a personality to reckon with …..Ganesh is the most busiest choreographer who has,’ Collie NO-I ‘Sooryavanshi” Laxmi Bomb’ already locked in his schedule. This second week Ganesh will be shooting for a two day dance number for ,’ Collie-No-1 that will have about 250 dancers participating in it which is to be held in Mumbai. …Confirming the same Ganesh adds,’ Yes, After completing Collie-No 1, I will be going to Hyderabad to shoot Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi.The shooting will commence from 13^th October to 15^th October. I have a busy schedule ahead with a huge show coming up in association with IFTDA and Ganesh Acharya Foundation. I have never deprived my dancers of their wages at all.I now feel somebody is palying mischief so that they can spoil my show which is to be held on 11^th to 15^th December -2019 ‘…Read to know the entire story ……

Well known Choreographer none other than Ganesh Acharya who is also the general secretary of Indian film and Television Directors association was ethical enough to address the accusation leveled by General Secretary B.N. Tiwari CDA

Explaining the side of his story Ganesh Acharya says,’ Our association that comprises of all big and well known  choreographer/Directors right from Farrah Khan ,Remo D”Souza,Bosco and Vaibhavi  merchant and Geeta Kapoor.We have been pressurized by CDA to employ dancers only from five co ordinators.They have been issued a card by CDA. This is totally illegal. Co-coordinators cannot get any such permanent cards. They need to directly deal with dancers. Our association is not affiliated to CDA, thus they should not interfere in our matter.”

Adding more elaborating his side  he quips,” IFTDA being my association all Choreographer/Directors- Farah Khan, Remo D”Souza ,Bosco and Vaibhavi  Merchant, Geeta Kapoor  do not want to be associated to these co coordinators. I have my own style of working. We fix the wages according to the producers who assign us on package basis. Accordingly, we talk to dancers and coordinators, if they get less than they can register a complaint, however, there’s is no issue or complaint received yet from any of the dancers. And I am not affiliated to CDA then why has B.N.Tiwari raised this issue? Neither my union nor their CDA is associated to us, then why raise this query? If they had any problem they should have come forward and discussed with us. This has turned out to be a huge & a ugly issue, tarnishing my image. I shall take this matter to court. I am sure of winning the court case because I have never under paid any dancers at all.’

Adding further he says,’ I always engage the services of valid members only. I have not received any letter from IFTDA; we will be discussing this matter in our AGM which is to be held on the 20^th of October.

Adding about his future dance numbers in Collie NO 1 he updates,” Presently, I have engaged the services of almost 250 dancers who are here with me, they are senior members as well. I also make it a point to engage the services of -senior members, needy members  and unemployed dancers. These 250 dancers are happily participating in a dancing number of the forthcoming film from  ,”Collie Number 1’.This dance number will be shot in Mumbai in the second  week of October,2019.  With the lead actors Varun Dhawan.”

So being one of the well established Choreographer/ Director and working in all big films Ganesh feels someone is not only tarnishing his image but wishes to be a spoiler to a big show that Ganesh Acharya is going to organize from 11th December to 15^th December 2019 here in Mumbai,’ I have been in this industry working successfully for almost 30 -35 years’ have never faced any such maligned intentions planning to tarnish my image from any one belonging to the Bollywood industry. I now, feel since I have organized a big show for IFTDA in association with Ganesh Acharya foundation, I have already received letters from all big stars that they will perform a   5 minute dance number in our show. Whether these stars/actors will perform dance numbers from their film is yet to be decided. We are in planning zone right now. This show is going to be held in Mumbai –from 11^th Dec, to 15^th Dec 2019 …being a 5 days show. Akshay Kumar, Kaitrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan John Abraham and more  actors/stars will be seen performing in this show.Now, I feel someone is creating mischief so that my show does not take off.’ He concludes.
