Glam-Babe Mahie Gill Dares To Ride A Mobike In ‘Doordarshan’-The Movie

Vivacious actress and agile dancer  Mahie Gill  known for her coquettish lead roles in maverick bold movies like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and its sequel will soon be  seen alongside popular writer-turned-actor Manu Rishi Chadha in the upcoming film ‘Doordarshan’ . This social laugh-riot comedy releasing this month-end, is directed by the talented  Gagan Puri and produced by  Sandeep Arya and Ritu Arya. Paired opposite the popular writer-turned actor  Manu Rishi Chadha , the versatile Mahie ( real name Rimpy Kaur Gill)  who is also known for her glamorous hot-babe avataars on-screen and off-screen ,would be seen riding a bullet motorbike in the film. The ‘Dev D’ actress learnt to ride the bullet mobike  to be able to do her scenes herself and didn’t want a body double or cheat shots to be done.  What appealed most to the director and the crew was Mahie’s dedication . The determined actress, who has this tomboyish streak, learnt it in just two days and confidently pulled her own bike riding sequences for the film. Meanwhile, her co-star Manu Rishi Chadha who has acted in a string of Hindi movies will also be seen in the upcoming Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan and Angrezi Medium in striking roles . Interestingly, while most of today’s web-watching and whatsapp urban metro-generation who may not be  very familiar with the term or word ‘Doordarshan’ which also refers to national television network, may soon start using this word in their vocabulary. Incidentally, the movie also uses the regret Doordarshan television networ  phrase ‘rukaawat ke liye khedd hai’, as is evident in the trailer.  Mahie Gill, best-known for her roles in Bollywood films such as Dev D, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Dabbangg, has been making huge headlines over her recent revelation. The outspoken, honest actress, in a recent media-interview, had opened up about her live-in boyfriend and her three year-old pretty little daughter named Veronica. She also went on to confide that she is not married as yet and has been living in with her boyfriend.   "I am very proud that I am the mother of a daughter. Yes, I have not been married yet, when I want to marry, I will do it.,” Mahie Gill was quoted
