Google Doodle: Tributes To Legendary Bhupen Hazarika’s 96th Birth Anniversary

Bollywood breaking news in today: Today is the 96th birth anniversary of the late Bhupen Hazarika, an Indian playback singer, lyricist, composer, poet, actor and film producer. Bhupen Hazarika was born on 8 September 1926 in Sadiya, Assam and died on 5 November 2011 due to multi-organ failure. He has worked as a playback singer, composer, director, producer, writer and actor in many films. In 2004, Bhupen also joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and has also been a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly. Now on the 96th birth anniversary of the late Bhupen Hazarika, Google is celebrating his birthday in its own style.

Google has put an artistic creation in Google Doodle to pay tribute to the late Bhupen Hazarika on his 96th birth anniversary. The Google doodle features Bhupen with a harmonium and a mic and the legendary artistic has been created by artist Rutuja Mali.

Google also twitted about Late Bhupen Hazarika, where in the first tweet Google wrote, “Remembering Bhupen Hazarika and his words: “Manush manusher jonye Jibon jiboner jonye Ektu sohanubhuti ki Manush pete parena?” This #GoogleDoodle honours the Bharat Ratna, Bhupen Da, whose songs were dedicated to bringing harmony and peace”. In the second tweet Google shared a link and wrote “Read more about his life here”.
