Early life and career beginnings
Manish Malhotra was born in Mumbai and his childhood was filled with a fascination for fashion and cinema. He completed his studies at Elphinstone College, Mumbai. Started her career with a boutique
Manish Malhotra once shared his childhood memories and told how he joined a painting class in the 6th grade, which he enjoyed a lot. Watching movies, painting and being around his mother's saris increased his love for fashion. He even started giving suggestions on his mother's saris.
During his college days, he started modeling and worked in a boutique where he was paid ₹500 a month. This was the beginning of his fashion education as he could not go abroad to study fashion.
