It is being said that he jumped from the sixth floor of his Bandra apartment. Former actress and founder of non-profit organisation No More Tears, Somy Ali, was shocked to hear the news. She took to her Instagram handle to share her condolences to Malaika, and her sister Amrita Arora. Emotional Tribute to Malaika Arora’s Late Father from a Close Friend Her post, which had pics of Malaika, Amrita, and their mother Joyce, read, “I am extremely saddened and shocked to learn of the passing of Mala and Amu's father. I wish them my deepest sympathies and condolences. They are all in my prayers, and I am so sorry for their pain. I shared nine years of friendship with them and was closer to Amu as Mala had already begun working, hence, I would see less of her. Nonetheless, I miss them and have the utmost respect and sympathy for their mother and them. The last time I saw Mala was at least 15 years ago when they were in Miami for one of David's films (Biwi No.1) starring Anil, Sush, Lolo, and Salman.” She continued, “Their mother and both the sisters were beyond kind and displayed a great deal of love towards me at every moment I was in their company. I wish them peace and love as they get through this awful situation. I am so sorry for their loss. They are in my prayers.” Somy became friends with Amrita in 1991, and their friendship stood strong till 1999, however, even after Somy quit Bollywood, they remained in touch. She added, “I was closer to Amu than Mala, as Amu was younger and had not begun working yet. Mala was already a VJ for a channel. Both of them were extremely nice and kind to me.” Read also: Sheeba’s dogs are here to steal your hearts Film Industry Rallies in Support of Malaika Arora's Bereaved Family I would love to be involved in film based on dance: Vaibhav Tatwawadi Zee Cinema Announces World TV Premiere of 'Bhimaa' on 13th September #malaika arora #Somy Ali Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
