Number one Magician of the country Samrat Shankar has been always on top in social service as well, in his 45 years of artistic journey. He has done 28000 magic shows worldwide, out of which 15000 shows were done for charity. Magician Shankar says- "Haryana is my birth state. And I have done shows in almost every city and town of Haryana. This is the reason I feel extremely happy to receive honour from this state. It becomes even more prestigious when this honour is being given by a learned personality like Sh. Bandaru Dattatreya.
