Grazia lauds a terrific 22 who are all things cool, stylish and trendy in their Grazia Cool List 2021

The year gone by has given rise to a host of bright young minds with fire in their bellies. Each one of them has shone amidst all adversity to innovate, create, connect and inspire.

Lauding 22 such talented individuals, Grazia celebrates its 13th Anniversary amidst much gusto in its ‘Grazia Cool List 2021’.

These household names, who continue to push boundaries in their respective fields include the likes of Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Mathur, Pratik Gandhi, Vijay Varma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Eshna Kutty, Ali Fazal, Ambika Nayak, Armaan Malik Prajakta Koli, Srishti Dixit, Rooshad Shroff, Mithila Palkar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Pragya Kapoor, Rahul Reddy & Daniel Trulson, Joyeeta Dutta, Yashraj Mukhate, Faye D’souza, Ritviz Srivastava, Trisha Shetty and Saloni Gaur who’ve made 2020 a year to remember for all the right reasons.

The fascinating/riveting issue sees these trendsetters talk about the challenges and how life has changed for them over the past one year.

Talking about the year gone by, actor Ali Fazal believes that a lot has changed for him on a personal note. “I don’t think I’m as strong as I thought.

I had my first panic attack because of certain things, and I didn’t even realise how powerful the mind and body are.’’ Coming to another actor, Pratik Gandhi, the breakthrough star of 2020, spoke about the show that changed his life forever.

“We, as a team, never thought that Scam would become such a big thing. But we were all sure that we were up to something good, and that we’d be able to take pride in it.’’

Moving on from the actors to the content creators, Saloni Gaur, who is known for her brilliant satirical pieces says ‘’During the lockdown, people started spending a lot of time on social media, which then helped us content creators showcase our talent.

I was creating videos daily and the engagement on my posts was amazing.” Another stellar actor who is ruling the OTT space is none other than Mithila Palkar.

She began her journey as an actor on OTT platforms and last year reaffirmed her faith in web series.

Talking about what she’s grateful for, the curly-haired actress says, “Career-wise, I think we were all very thankful in terms of the existence of OTT and I’m glad that I was given my wings there.”

Known for his versatility, singer Armaan Malik has come long way. However, the artist’s approach to work shifted in the past year with more consideration going into choosing his projects.

He says, “Sometimes you don’t need a hundred projects to grow, in fact, you just need one project to push you a hundred leagues ahead and I think that is something that my team and I have learned. Doing less is more, and doing it well is, in fact, the most important thing.”
