GUESS WHO: DEEPIKA'S EX TO PLAY BAJIRAO II

Kangana Ranaut's upcoming epic biographical film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is garnering attention for all the right reasons. It was only some time back that Kangana's look from the film came out in the open and now, here's a casting news that might leave you utterly confused. Deepika Padukone's ex-boyfriend Nihaar Pandya has joined the cast of the film and will be playing the role of Bajirao II.

If reports are to be believed, Nihar is preparing very hard to get in the skin of his character and has underwent multiple acting and training workshops. He has also learnt martial arts and horse riding for his character.

Nihaar also made a guest appearance in Salman Khan's 2007 Marigold and featured in Himesh Reshammiya's hit music video I Love You Sayonee.

Manikarnika also marks the Bollywood debut of television actress Ankita Lokhande who will essay the role of Jhalkaribai who was considered to be the right hand of Rani Laxmibai. The film also stars Sonu Sood and Atul Kulkarni.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Kamal Jain and Zee Studios and is slated to release on April 27 2018.
