GUESS WHO JUST BAGGED A FILM OPPOSITE AKSHAY KUMAR!

The first ever collaboration between Karan Johar's Dharma Production and Akshay Kumar, Kesari has been creating all the right noises ever since its official announcement. And now, the film has just got its leading lady. As per a report by Bollywoodlife,  Parineeti Chopra has been roped in to play the female lead in the film opposite Akshay Kumar.

The entertainment portal quoted a source saying, “Both Karan and Akshay have zeroed in on Parineeti Chopra and she has given her nod too. She is very much onboard and will begin prep for the film soon. An official announcement about the same is being planned for sometime in November end. This is a big project for Parineeti and there was no way she could turn it down.”

Kesari  is expected to be one of the biggest films of 2019 and will be directed by Anurag Singh. Based on The Battle of Saragarhi, Kesari will go on floor in January and is scheduled to release on Holi 2019.

On the work front, Akshay has several others projects in his kitty such as Padman, Gold and Crack. He will be also seen in the mega project 2.o. On the other hand, Parineeti is working on Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
