GUESS WHICH SUPERSTAR JODI HAS BAGGED A ROLE IN SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI'S NEXT

Earlier it was reported that Priyanka Chopra would be doing a project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.  The feature was a biopic on the love that bonded poet Sahir Ludhianvi and author Amrita Pritam, but now that Priyanka has opted out of the biopic, the project has gone on a quick casting re-shuffle.

Bhansali has reportedly approached his favourite Bollywood jodi again. They belong to one of the most reputed family in the industry. Any guesses? Well, hold your horses because it is none other than Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for this one.

You heard that right! Bhansali has reportedly asked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play Amrita Pritam and Abhishek Bachchan to play Sahir Ludhianvi. The Sahir-Amrita biopic, to be directed by debutante Jasmeet Reen, will go on floors early next year.

If all goes well, this would be the 9th film where we will see Aishwarya and Abhishek together. The first time they co-starred was in Rohan Sippy’s Kuch Na Kaho in 2003. We saw the real-life couple together last in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan in 2010. So, we would see the beautiful couple on screen after eight long years.
