Popularly known as Queen Bey, Beyonce has lived up to her name!
Business magazine Forbes has crowned Beyonce the highest paid woman in music in 2017, in its new list released on Monday with a gross earning of $105 million pretax. The Lemonade album put Beyonce on the no 1 spot for the sixth time and her Formation World Tour grossed over quarter million dollars.
Adele took second place earning $69 million and Taylor Swift third at $44 million.
As Forbes further reports that in order to form the list-
They looked at pretax income from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017, and did not take out fees charged by agents, managers, and lawyers. They gathered data from Nielsen SoundScan, Pollstar, the RIAA and interviews with industry insiders. The two mononymous stars both earned tens of millions more than the rest of the pack, but there are plenty of notable names further down the list.
The few other popular names who made it to the list are-
Celine Dion ranks fourth with $42 million
Jennifer Lopez rounds out the top five with $38 million
