Poet, author, lyricist, and activist are some of the many titles by which Javed Akhtar is known. One of the most powerful voices in Bollywood at present, the legendary writer has had a life that can make anyone envious and for that very reason a biopic is being made on the man.

It's been in the news for sometime that Javed Akhtar's son, Farhan, and his wife, Shabana, have been planning a biopic on him. While the family itself is keeping this a secret, a source close to them revealed to the media that the idea has been under progress for nearly three years and is almost close to completion. Naturally, with such big news hitting the stands, the rumour mills are abuzz again and if they are to be believed, then the makers have already finalised on the actor who is going to play Javed in the biopic.
