5th April 2019, Mumbai: Indian subcontinent has always been the reservoir of talent. However, special emphasis should be given to the famous Indian Art. Renowned International Photographer Dr. L. Ramachandran is a well versed and experienced photographer in this artistic field.  Tharansia and The ART 41 were joined together to set a new world record in the painting genre in the record title ‘Most Faces painted in 4 Hours (Team). Five Artist L. Ramachandran, Azhagesan, Anandan, Vijayaraj, Rosario John Victor set this new record; they painted 950 Different faces in 4 hours in the theme Medley of Art. The record event happened in Everwin group of schools, Chennai on January 10(Friday) from 9 am to 2 pm.

Ramchandran is a self-taught photographer who has a huge passion for photography and arts. He has recently set a Guinness World Record of ‘most faces painted in 4hours’. L. Ramachandran worked for a lot of international magazines all over the world. And he is the only Indian representative photographer of Playboy magazine. He won a lot of international awards in Fashion and art categories, has also received two prestigious awards, a doctorate for contribution in photography form international Tamil university USA and ATIM’s top 60 Masters of Contemporary award. Capturing the alluring forms of the human figure with his techniques of manipulating light, his work has conquered art critics and earned him international acclaim. He is the founder of Tharansia Private Limited and Tharansia Signs. They deal with multimedia productions and interiors, exterior works for the leading client in the industry.

Ramachandran previously launched his artistic Photographic book “Medley of Art” which combines a fusion of art and photography. In the same name, he attempted this world record for world peace, the theme which means the fusion of art. Once L. Ramachandran planned to execute this world record and The Art 41, a leading Art gallery of Chennai, quite impressed in this Guinness World record concept and its social cause. So they immediately associated with Tharansia and L. Ramachandran to achieved this record successfully. In front of Chief adjudicator from world records and witnesses from the respective art field, we started to set a new World Record.  With the support of the young dynamic students and teachers from Everwin Group of Schools Five artist painted tremendously and they broke the previous record in 3 hours by painting 700 more people and in 4 hours they completed by painting 950 different faces and a set a new Guinness World Record.

Working with a broad variety of media, photography and body painting, fine art photographer L Ramachandran orchestrates a complex artistic profile that emphasizes on the female figure, capturing the beauty and eroticism of the female presence. His artwork has always gathered appreciation from people residing in almost all parts of the world. His artwork still decorating a lot of international galleries and attracting world-renowned art collectors and critics. The art of painting in India dates back to ancient times.
