Speaking on how Hinduism has been a dynamic practice of faith, Pavan K. Varma said, “The greatest harm you can do to Hinduism is to simplify it. It is a way of life. Even though it has failed many times, its grand success is that it never dies due to the capacity to re-invent itself.”

Adi Shankaracharya is an extensively researched read that not only answers the questions that have been lingering in modern minds in and around Hinduism but also provides a philosophical basis to it. This book journeys through a short lived thirty two years of life of Adi Shankaracharya, who revived the faith and create a path that diverges from the mainstream worship.

Speaking about the perception of Hinduism in today’s day, Anil Dharker said, “I think all human beings have prejudices; some are deep rooted while the rest on the surface. When powerful voices bring out those prejudices, worst happens. At times like these, to bring out voice of sanity, may there be more like Pavan Varma.”
