He had started dreaming of building a fim school which would be very different from all the other schools .He was now caught in a fix, there was the school and its problems on his mind and there was the filmmaker who wanted to make films. This did not work out for him and he had to pay a heavy price when his films like "Trimurti ", "Kissna", "Yuvraaj "and "Kaanchi "(it was Rishi Kapoor's second and last film with Ghai and it also had Mithun Chakraborty and a young new actor called Kartik Aryan, who is a star now)

All these films fared miserably at the box office and Ghai has still not got out of the dark clouds of failure , but knowing Ghai as I know him, I am sure he will rise to a new high soon . And as if to make my wish for him come true , he has started three new films in association with Zee Films . The details are still being worked out and Ghai is playing an active part in the planning of these films. Ghai has always believed in changing with the changing times and don't be surprised if he comes up with ideas , plans and films that will lead Mukta Arts on a new path of success
