The highly awaited Star Wars Han Solo spinoff finally has a name! On the final day of production, the academy award winning director Ron Howard shared a video on Twitter where he obliged us by giving us the news we'd all been waiting for. Solo: A Star Wars Story seems to be a fitting name for the spinoff anthology project starring Alden Ehrenreich as the iconic smuggler in a galaxy far, far away.
The film has had what we'd believe a tumultuous filming experience as the original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were ousted from the project in June, before Howard took over the reins of the film. The film's cast includes Game Of Thrones fame Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Donald Glover and Fleabag‘s Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The film traces the events before the George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy (which starred Harrison Ford as Han). Solo is slated to hit the screens on May 25 2018.
