Happy Birthday R. Balki:  He started his career as a creative writer

Director of Hindi films R Balki will be celebrating his 58th birthday. R Balki is considered a very serious director of Hindi films. In Balki's films, one or the other works to raise social issues. R Balki started his career as a creative writer in an ad agency. He wrote ads like Surf Excel – Daag Achhe Hain, and Idea – Walk When You Talk. In the year 2007, Balki's film named 'Chini Kum' came as director. He always wrote the story of the film.

In the year 2009, Balki came up with a film titled Paa with Amitabh and his son Abhishek. In this film, Amitabh played the character of a 15-year-old child with great enthusiasm. Tabu and Amitabh Bachchan did a strong job in 'Cheeni Kum'. Abhishek and Amitabh’s duet in the film was very much liked. Vidya Balan and Paresh Rawal also did a great job in the film. After Paa, Balki made a film named Shamitabh with Amitabh and Dhanush. The film had a huge craze at the time of its release but Shamitabh flopped badly at the box office. Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan did a great job in the film but the film failed to impress the audience during its release.

After Shamitabh, Balki made Padman and Ki and ka. Both films were hugely successful. In the year 2022, he brought a film named Chup with Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan. Which did not do much at the box office but Chup is a masterpiece film. The songs of the film are top-level performances by Sunny and Salman. Through Chup, Balki has paid tribute to the great director of India, Guru Dutt.
