Salman Khan's fans are waiting with bated breath for the Diwali festival when their  Salman Bhaijan will give them the Diwali gift with his amazing swag i.e. Salman's much-awaited film 'Tiger 3' which is releasing on the day of Diwali. Adding to the excitement, Salman's best friend Shah Rukh Khan (whom Salman said, always stands by him) is also expected to surprise the world with a special cameo role in the film as a Diwali surprise gift. However, only Friday will decide what tactics are being used to achieve this. The advance booking of the film is tremendous which is being seen as a Diwali return gift bonanza for Salman and Shahrukh by the film lovers. According to the sources, their fans are expecting to see both their superstars partying together hand in hand at the grand Diwali celebration organized by Yash Raj Films. This collaboration of Salman and Shahrukh became the talk of the town after their successful pairing in Shahrukh's blockbuster 'Pathan', which marked Shahrukh's comeback after a break of four years. 'Tiger 3' directed by Maneesh Sharma is a hundred percent treat for Hindi audience, Tamil audience, and Telugu audiences this festive season. The question remains how Katrina will look with Salman in the film after so many years. Although Emraan Hashmi is in an important role in this film, time will tell how difficult it will be for him to lock horns with Katrina and Salman. At the Diwali party, YRF, who are often known to keep their plans secret, will reveal many secrets regarding 'Tiger 3' perhaps
So is Salman feeling nervous?

No, not at all. He is not scared of anything. Salman says, "It is in our hands to work hard, the rest is not in our hands. Let the public decide."

This time the festival Diwali is a testament to Salman Khan, regarding the loyalty of his fans towards him. If Salman wanted, he could have released this film on Eid, but for him, Eid, Diwali, Holi, New Year, and all the Bhartiya festivals are of the same joyful and beautiful regard, he said, "My audience is paramount for me, I always feel like giving gifts to them on any festival."

Be it Eid and Diwali, Holi and New Year, or Christmas, Salman Khan celebrates every happy occasion with unwavering enthusiasm. Not just Salman, but his entire family participates in these festivals with equal enthusiasm, filling their home with a vibrant and extraordinary atmosphere during these festivals.

I met Salman at Mehboob Studio just before the Diwali festival many years back. In those days he was doing a film with Madhuri Dixit. He told how in his childhood he used to take Diwali expenses from the elders of his house on the day of Diwali and on Eid, he used to get a good amount of Eid from the elders. When he was a kid there was a shortage of money in the house, but even then Ammi Jaan (Salman's Mom) used to give him some pocket money to enjoy at every festival.

Today the same history is being repeated again. Salman's nieces and nephews, (children of his brothers and sisters) eagerly wait for these occasions as they enjoy the delightful tradition of receiving kharchi during Diwali and Edi during Eid festival from Salman Chachu, Salman Mamu. As a result of this beautiful tradition, the children of Salman's household receive festive gifts not once, but twice a year, a tradition that fills their hearts with festive joy and excitement. When it came to firecrackers, Salman told me that now he does not burst firecrackers at all, but in his childhood, he used to burst a lot of firecrackers. Whatever money his parents gave him to buy crackers, or the many boxes of firecrackers his parents bought for Salman and his siblings, were all exhausted within hours. Unable to buy more, Salman used to search the leftover live crackers among the burnt ones and used to pick back the half-burnt crackers put them on paper, and then set the paper on fire. Among these anecdotes, I remembered an incident of Diwali he told me, which had brought an important change in Salman's life.

This happened in those days when he was a six-year-old child. Lived in Indore. Papa Salim Khan (famous author, film story, and scriptwriter) had not yet established his footing properly in Bollywood. There was a shortage of money. They had shifted newly to Mumbai. It was Diwali day, Father had brought many boxes of crackers for them to enjoy. But all the brothers came together and burst all the firecrackers within a few hours. They were still not satisfied and wanted some more fun. What should they do? They all started having fun by collecting papers from here and there and setting them on fire. When Salman could not find any more paper left in the house, he raided his father's writing table. There he found a small bundle of papers tied in a bundle in the drawer. All the children danced happily. Quickly picked up the bundle and went outside and set it on fire. The bundle started burning. Everyone applauded. But by evening the atmosphere at home started changing. Papa Salim was looking very upset and was searching for that bundle of papers. Everyone at home was busy searching for it. In a way, there was a lot of chaos.

In fact, the children were not aware that the bundle of papers they had set on fire that evening was not simple papers, but the entire monthly salary of their father, writer Salim Khan, amounting to Rs. 750. As soon as Salman and his brothers realized this, they confessed in fear that they had burnt the money considering it to be paper. This mischief could have had serious consequences, but Papa Salim Khan chose a different path. Instead of punishing his children, he calmly and patiently explained the importance of money, and how it could have been used to buy things for the family, feed them, and pay school fees. Salman, who was the eldest among his siblings, was greatly influenced by his father's wise teachings that fateful night and vowed to never forget the lessons he learned.

Another incident was shared by Salman with me for the Diwali issue of Mayapuri. Sitting on a parked motorcycle near the garden of Mehboob Studio, Salman narrated a horrifying incident that occurred on Diwali in his childhood. He said, "We all were so fond of firecrackers that we used to buy and burn firecrackers four days before and four days after Diwali and the daring was so much that we used to burst big bomb firecrackers in our hands. In those days I had long hair. My hair used to hang on my forehead. Once, as I bent down and lit the bomb thread in my hands, my hair caught fire and started burning. There was chaos again. Immediately somehow the fire was extinguished and my skin was saved from getting burnt. After that, my family became strict about firecrackers. These sweet and sour stories of childhood remain forever in Salman's memories.

Diwali for Salman However, it is not just a grand celebration that defines Salman Khan's life journey but it is also a beautiful occasion to understand the essence of his philanthropic spirit and the values that guide him.

Salman Khan, who is synonymous with stardom today, once had a life full of simple pleasures from his early days in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, which he spent enjoying with his cousins, as they climbed trees, plucked guavas. , and used to celebrate every festival with fun in those carefree days.

Another inspiring incident introduces Salman's beautiful, clean, and kind heart. When he was studying at St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra, the principal of the school, on special occasions like festivals, asked the affluent students to invite their less fortunate classmates for lunch together just to promote the spirit of solidarity and harmony among themselves. Without a moment's thought and without any hesitation, little Salman Khan was the first to step forward to invite seven students from his school for lunch and dinner at his home, not just for that day but on a regular basis. From that day onwards he started inviting underprivileged friends to eat at his home, which was a testament to Salman Khan's generous spirit from an early age and was also a testament to his family's big heart and beautiful values.

In these formative years, he also honed his cycling skills traveled far and wide to witness Diwali celebrations, and mastered the art of pedaling even the most challenging terrains.
Thus Salman Khan grew up with his good deeds and some early mischievous experiences, each experience leaving an indelible mark on his heart, paving the way for his vast philanthropic efforts. "Being Human" is one of his most significant contributions to society, a reflection of his compassionate nature. Be it Diwali or Holi, Eid or Christmas, or for no reason at all, Salman keeps donating freely some percentage of his hard-earned money. He openly helps children, orphan babies, orphan elderly people. His kind act of financially supporting 25,000 daily wage workers of the film industry during the challenging times of the coronavirus outbreak is a testament to his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact that is beyond any festival ritual.

Salman Khan Tiger 3

Today he often celebrates Diwali and Holi with the poor children of Mumbai. He often visits cancer hospitals and orphanages to distribute lots of gifts at every festival or even without any festival and bears the entire expense of medicines and surgeries for those who need expensive medicines or expensive surgeries. A year ago he went to the slum area of Bandra and celebrated Diwali with the children of a band called Dharavi Rocks. These children made a musical instrument with the help of scrap materials like unused buckets, old boxes, and wooden planks, which was fully supported by Salman Khan.

Similarly, once after celebrating a Diwali party all night, when Salman stepped out of a hotel with his bodyguards in the morning and when he walked towards his car, some poor little children ran towards him and saw Salman Khan in front of them, they Couldn't hold their happiness. When Salman lovingly caressed their heads, the children said that they sell books of ABCD, A for Apple for small children every morning and they pleaded, "Please Salman Bhai buy these books." Salman Khan never carries cash with him. He only keeps his credit cards. But Salman immediately asked for some money from his bodyguard Shera and distributed five hundred rupees to each child.

This is how Salman celebrates Diwali, Eid, Holi, Christmas, and New Year in which he just spreads and distributes laughter, happiness, and joy, and in return, he gets pure joy, blessings, and that peace of mind that only the fortunate souls can achieve.

The almighty has given him a lot of success, may he achieve more and more. Mostly every film of his has broken record after record of becoming a hit. The Mayapuri family was, is and will always stand with him. Happy Diwali Salman Khan.
