No matter how old we get, we always need our mothers. Since childhood, we are used to asking for our mothers as soon as we reach home, regardless of if we need her for something particular or not. Mothers bring in the kind of calm and peace in our lives that no one can, their presence is more than enough. Mother’s love is the purest form of love one can get in this life. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Zee TV actors like Aishwarya Khare from Bhagya Lakshmi, Ashi Singh from Meet, Aditi Sharma from Rabb Se Hai Dua, Namish Taneja from Maitree, Paras Kalnawat from Kundali Bhagya, Shweta Gulati from Main Hoon Aparajita, Neeharika Roy from Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan and Krishna Kaul from Kumkum Bhagya shared how their mothers play a very important role in their lives and got nostalgic as they spoke about their best memories with them.
Aishwarya Khare who essays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi mentioned, “My mom means the world to me, she has been my biggest support system, cheerleader, and my pillar of strength all these years. When I decided to move to Mumbai to pursue my career, she was the one who helped and supported me in the best way possible. I can’t imagine my life without my mother, I still remember, when I was a kid, my mom used to drop me to school every day, and in that frame of time, we used to talk a lot. Initially, it was very difficult for me to live without her as I have never lived away from her, but soon I got accustomed to it. So, whenever I get a chance or whenever she gets time, we meet each other and spend the best time possible. On this Mother’s Day, I am going to send some special gifts for her as I won’t be able to visit her.”
Ashi Singh who essays the role of Meet in Zee TV’s Meet mentioned, “I will mostly be shooting on Mother’s Day. So, I won’t be able to celebrate as such with my mother. But I am going to give her something that she enjoys a lot, and that is jewellery. Nevertheless, I will make the day special for her, by scheduling a manicure, pedicure, and facial appointment. I think mothers don’t take enough credit for the kind of work they do, so a relaxing day is a gentle reminder to express how they deserve the best and need to take out time for themselves from their busy life. After the shoot, I am planning to take her out for dinner and spend some quality time with her. I wish all the mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day, and request everyone to take out time for their mothers.”
Aditi Sharma who essays the role of Dua in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua mentioned, “I love my mom the most. She has been my best friend since my childhood. My mother understands me more than anyone else. She is also my biggest critic and scolds me when needed, and that’s what makes our bond very special we are so transparent with each other. There is nothing that I don’t share with her, she is a very understanding person and that’s what I love the most about her. I still remember, whenever I used to return from school around 2.30 – 3 pm, she used to keep the lunch ready for me and I would sit on the kitchen slab and update her with all the details of the day while having lunch. Those were some of the best days of my life, no stress, no work, just enjoying quality time with Mom. This Mother’s Day I won't be around her, but I will make sure to make it extra special for her.”
Namish Taneja who essays the role of Ashish in Zee TV’s Maitree mentioned, “I don’t think I can describe the relationship I have with my mother. She has been my biggest support system and I am so happy that I have been able to achieve my dreams and fulfill some of hers. I aim to make all her dreams come true and always keep her happy. This Mother’s Day, I want to spend enough time with her, but because I will be shooting and she is in Delhi, I am planning a surprise for her. I hope I will be able to execute it properly. I just want to wish every mother a very Happy Mother’s Day, you’ll deserve the best of this world.”
Paras Kalnawat, who essays the role of Rajveer in Zee TV’s show Kundali Bhagya mentioned, “A mother is a precious gift that life bestows upon us, providing us with a unique kind of love and care that cannot be found in any other person. My love for her is ineffable, and only I know how much I love her. I do try to tell her by doing some other gesture, but nothing can beat what she has done for me, and I can only try. On Mother's Day, I honour and appreciate the most important woman in my life. I will celebrate her kindness, her grace, and her selflessness, and thank her for all that she has done for me. To my dear mother, I wish you a happy Mother's Day. You are the epitome of elegance, kindness, and love, and I am so grateful to have you in my life.”
Shweta Gulati, who essays the role of Mohini in Zee TV’s show Main Hoon Aparajita mentioned, “My mother and I share a unique bond that's more akin to friendship than just a parent-child relationship. She's my confidante, the one who knows every intricate detail of my life and is always available for me. A mother and her child share a very strong relationship, they say daughters are father’s princess but when the same daughters turn into a woman they become friends with their mothers. And after that, there is no going back, both mother and daughter become each other’s go-to person. They know every detail of our lives and are there for us no matter what. As we celebrate this special day, it's important to recognize the immense love and sacrifices that our mothers have made for us. From carrying us for nine months to being our constant support system, they have been there for us through thick and thin. We should cherish this relationship and make a conscious effort to strengthen it by making our mothers feel special.”
Neeharika Roy, who essays the role of Radha in Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan mentioned, “Moms are the best and they work 24/7, 365 days selflessly for their children and families. I think it's true when people say that mothers are God on earth because no one can love us as they do. For me, my mother is my best friend. In fact, she travels with me for all my Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan shoots, and we spend a lot of time together. She is very supportive of every decision I take and always guides me to do the right things. According to me, we don’t need a particular day to celebrate mothers and their presence in our lives because every day is Mother’s Day. We should cherish them and always make them feel special. Lastly, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Mother’s Day.”
Krishna Kaul, who essays the role of Ranbir in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya mentioned, “Life does not come with a manual, it comes with a mother only. I believe boys are closer to their mothers instead of girls and they are more expressive with them. My parents actually live in Delhi, and because I stay in Mumbai, and have a busy schedule, I rarely get a chance to visit them. But whenever I get a chance to meet them, I always plan a special day out with my mother because I believe we don’t need a special day for mothers, every day is Mother’s Day. This year, I plan to send some gifts along with a handwritten letter” to my mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day to make her feel special. Lastly, a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers.”
