Har Har Mahadev movie music release ceremony in the presence of Shivamani

Zee Studios' upcoming film 'Har Har Mahadev' is currently the talk of the town. The glorious history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be presented to the audience in an equally grand and divine manner through this film. 'Har Har Mahadev' is going to be a film that breaks a new level of magnificence in Marathi. Therefore, befitting this reputation, the music release ceremony of this film was also held in a grand manner in the presence of many dignitaries. The main attraction of the program was the percussion performance of internationally renowned percussionist Shivamani. Shivamani, who appeared on the stage holding the rhythm of Damdi, staged a concert of drums, tabla, dhol and other instruments for the next few minutes that left every audience in awe of the sound. It is special that on the occasion of this film, Shivmani will be doing percussion for a Marathi film song for the first time.

The music of the film 'Har Har Mahadev' is composed by Hitesh Modak and the song 'Baji Ran Baji Ran Jhunjar Baji Ran' is written by lyricist Mandar Cholakar and sung by Manish Rajgire. The title song 'Har Har Mahadev' is penned by Mangesh Kangane and sung by famous singer Shankar Mahadevan. This song is graced with percussionist Shivamani. Apart from this, today's shining star in the singing world of southern cinema is singing for the first time in a Marathi film on the occasion of Sid Shriram. He has sung the song 'Wah Re Wah Shiva' from Har Har Mahadev and the lyrics of this song are by Mangesh Kangane. Talking about these three songs, music composer Hitesh Modak said, “It was indeed a very challenging task to compose music for such a magnificent divine historical film using modern instruments. I worked hard for two and a half years on the music of this film. This kind of modern music has been used for the film to evoke the energy that flows through us when we hear the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the way the blood boils after saying Jai Bhawani Jai Shivaji, and the combination is beautifully blended that is sure to please the fans.”

The story of the film 'Har Har Mahadev' is about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's dream of self-rule and Baji Prabhu Deshpande, a warrior who fought bravely to fulfill that dream. In this film, well-known actor Subodh Bhave is playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while popular actor Sharad Kelkar, who has played many important roles in Hindi and Marathi films, will be seen in the contracted role of Bajiprabhu.

Talking about this role, Subodh Bhave said, “Whenever we go to a very famous temple, we try to go inside and have a glimpse of God. Not everyone gets that darshan as they want because it is not the devotee's will but the Lord's will and I think he gives darshan to everyone according to that wish. I feel the same about the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is not that I got that role because I wanted it, but somewhere it was Maharaj's wish for me to play that role and I believe that it was because of that wish that I got it. I have tried to do full justice to this desire of Maharaj and this role as well, I hope the audience will like it.

Sharad Kelkar, who played the role of Baji Prabhu Deshpande in the film, said, "After playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in a popular Hindi film earlier, people felt the respect and love for Maharaj. Actually, when Abhijit Deshpande approached me about the film 'Har Har Mahadev', I thought he would ask for the role of Maharaj, but he surprised me by asking for the role of Baji Prabhu. Seeing his vision for the role and his belief that I could do it, I agreed for the role. I hope that the love I got for playing Shivaji Maharaj is even more for playing Bajiprabhu. I always regretted that even after playing many roles in Marathi, I could not create the recognition I wanted. But now I am fully confident that this role of Baji Prabhu will give me a new identity as a 'Marathi actor'."

Abhijit Deshpande, the writer-director of the film, said in his heart that, "I have been harboring the dream of making a grand divine film on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for many years. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj built the arch of Hindu Swarajya. I wanted to tell the story of how Mawle fought with his life on his palm to build this pylon. Moreover, along with the banner of Swarajya, what was the exact policy of the Maharaja behind it, this film was made for this purpose.

The film Har Har Mahadev will be released across India on October 25 through Zee Studios in five PAN Indian languages including Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Speaking about this, Mangesh Kulkarni, Business Head, Zee Studios said, “Such an accomplished king has passed away in our Maharashtra soil, for whom we all have great respect. We are releasing this film in so many different languages all over India with the intention that that respect should be maintained or even increased and that the importance of Maharaj's achievements should reach other languages outside Maharashtra. Actress Amrita Khanvilkar will be seen in a special role along with Subodh Bhave and Sharad Kelkar in the film 'Har Har Mahadev'. Produced by Sunil Fadtare's Shree Ganesh Marketing and Films and Zee Studios, the film will release on October 25 across India.
