1) How did Jeevan jyot take birth?

Jeevan jyot is a very important and integral part of my life. It’s been almost 30 years since Jeevan jyot came into existence. My journey began when an unfortunate event happened where unknowingly I misguided a cancer patient and then wanted to pay for my mistake and this came to me.

2) What is your motivation to help the needy?

When I see people, who have a lot of problems to deal with in their life, I feel the drive to work for them and help them as much as possible. I simply go to the hospital and spend time with patients who are alone and had no one around, because a lot of them came from outside Mumbai for treatment away from home and family, even after a lot of difficulties in life they still a have urge to have a better life and that’s what motivates me not to give up. The more I help more peaceful would be my life.

3) Your experience sitting in from of AB and coming on KBC?

My wife told me, "People struggle to go on this show and you are behind your work. This show can open doors to many cancer patients and would get help." That’s when even I realized that I would get a lot of support and I got excited looking forward to being on the show. Sitting with AB is a golden opportunity as he is not just a Shehenshah of Bollywood but also in real life and through KBC I got that moment. Thanks to KBC to giving all the Karamveers a support and platform to send their message.

4) Anurag Basu fought cancer. What message would you like to give out to the common man who if fighting the demon?

The way Anurag sir fought and got victory over cancer is an example to people who are fighting their demons and losing home that, cancer is curable, and it can be fought.

5) What was your Kab Tak Rokoge moment?

Hurdles never stop coming and living without challenges and problems is not living well. Challenges make our life smart and this slogan of KBC is a goal which encourages people to live and continue their lives towards their aim without worrying about the hurdles and even I have reached this far because of this goal.
