HASEENA PARKAR IN LEGAL TROUBLE! HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED

Haseena Parkar, which features Shradha Kapoor in the lead role is releasing this weekend, but the film seems to keep running into trouble. This time, according to several reports, Shraddha has landed into a legal soup.

Apparently, designers Aj Mistry and Thea Minhas have filed a criminal complaint against Shraddha after she allegedly violated an agreement with them, which required her to promote their label AJTM during the film's promotional tours. The designers claim that they delivered around 300 outfits for use in the film and in return, the makers promised good media coverage for their brand. However, that never ended up happening.

"My clients had worked very hard for the project under their brand name AJTM, as it was their golden entry into Bollywood. After their personal meeting with Ms. Shraddha Kapoor, they put their heart and soul into this project titled Haseena Parkar”, the designers' lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee was quoted as saying. Furthermore, the lawyer stated it was unfortunate that the obligations as undertaken in the agreement were not performed, and his clients felt cheated. “Therefore, my said clients had no option but to file a criminal complaint against the producer, Swiss Entertainment and Ms. Shraddha Kapoor," he added.

However, despite all the drama, the film will hit the cinemas on September 22 and would face the box-office battle with Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hyadri starrer Bhoomi and Rajkumar Rao's Newton.
